This is the Chanel bag for the younger set. You get the quilted leather and chain-strapped elegance of La Chanel, without going all out. Not that this isn't a truly luxurious piece. The golden hammered hardware is eye-catching, while soft taupe leather is neutral and easy - and dark enough that it can take a bit of a beating without automatically appearing shabby. The pair of handheld and shoulder-strap handles is much appreciated. And all the optional top handles on bags lately is truly lovely! They seem to be ubiquitous.
